One of the most vital parts of the normal functional body is the colon. One of the many functions includes digestion, immune system functioning, and keep the water level in the body. The colon belongs to the intestine which is extending from cecum to the rectum.
When the colon is not functioning properly, the body is at risk of holding toxic waste which is very bad for the overall health. The waste is kept in the system when there is no proper functioning of the colon. This means that the waste will be absorbed by the colons walls and will go straight in the bloodstream.
When one has a healthy colon, the transit of food in the body should be no longer than 24 hours. But when unhealthy food is consumed which lack in nutrition’s and fiber, the transit can take up to 70 hours. This will lead to toxic colon with up to 30 pounds of waste.
Constipation is the condition that can be created when the colon is not at proper functioning. This occurs when waste moves slowly through the bowel, which can result in the painful discard.

Bernard Jensen DC, ND, Ph.D. is one of the first people who practice colon cleansing for improvement in one’s life. In one of his books “ Tissue Cleansing through Bowel Management,” Dr. Bernard explains: “the heavy mucus coating in the colon thickens and becomes a host of purification. The blood capillaries to the colon begin to pick up the toxins, poisons and noxious debris as it seeps through the bowel wall.
All tissues and organs of the body are now taking on toxic substances. Here is the beginning of true autointoxication on a physiological level. This accumulation can have the consistency of truck tire rubber. It’s that hard and black.”
